Life in Yokohama

I enjoyed watching Yokohama Chinatown Spring festival parade held on Feb 28, 2015. Parade course Yamashitacho park- Kanteibyo street - Fukkenro-West gate street - Chinatown Boulevard South gate silk road- Yamashitacho park Costume of emperor  Lion dance.  You can catch it.  Dragon dance Dragon entering Kanteibyo

Ito city (Shizuoka) is home town of my father. My father has stayed at hospital for alzheimer disease. 　As he was diagnosed as terminal stage, he can't walk nor speak. I went to Izu Shaboten park (near from Ito) as I wanted to show pictures of the park ner his hometown.  Capibaras were very cute.  Pelicans were waiting for food. 伊豆シャボテン公園にでかけたのは、病院に 寝たきりの父に故郷伊東の写真を撮って 見せたかったからです。 父は、末期のアルツハイマー病で入院中なので ベッドで寝たきりでほとんどしゃべりません。でも 伊東駅や大室山の写真を見たらどこだかわかった ようです。 Macaws were noisy カピバラの隣のコンゴウインコは、うるさかったです。                 Peacock was spreading wings.  求愛の季節なので、園内では、孔雀が 羽を広げているのを良く見ました。

2nd Utsunomiya Gyoza festival was held at Yokohama Redbrick Warehouse on April 17-19. Jiazi（餃子）, dumpling with minced pork and vegetable stuffing is very popular  among  Japanese.  Koran (香蘭）　Stuffings of pork and cabbage. Seigen (青源） Original miso soup was tasty. Menmen  Waiting time was about 20 minutes.
