Life in Yokohama

If you like Singaporean meal,  Makan Makan is worth visiting. Nagata Bld.1F, 1-6-19, Chuo, Yamato city  I had lunch of the week consists of salad with peanuts sauce, stewed pork and raddish, fried eggplants, pickles and coffee.   As meal is delicious, I plan to parcipate cooking class held at sheff's house.  　　

Bamboo trees near Kibougaoka (Hopehill) station. Rain season has began earlier than usual. When it rains hard,  I can not watch Sky Perfect Television program. I take piano lesson once a month.  Lesson fee is 3,000 yen for an hour. For adult piano student, this schedule and fee is reasonable. I use Hanon lesson book published when I was 4 years old. (250 yen at that time). Today's lesson Hanon 39 (major and minor schale) H dur(ロ長調）  Gis moll　（嬰ト短調） When I play downward, I should be careful with double sharp and thumb finger. The little Pischna 12  I should release my annular finger from keyboard at once.  I went to "Yokohama Handmade Marche 2013" held at Pacifico Yokohama.  If you are interested in purchasing handmade craft from craftsman, this event would be interesting. Exhibition hall 1,100 booth of accesories, toys, art. 10 minute walk from Minatomirai station.  You can walk from Yokohama station. My husband was pleased to buy this bag. We had lunch at　 Kua Aina , Yokohama Bayquarter.

We had lunch at Mango Tree at Yokohama Lumine. For the first time this year, we went to Lumine. To our disappointment Yurindo book store got narrower. My husband is big fan of Village Vanguard store. When we entered Village Vanguard Lumine shop, we were surprised to see that layout of the shop was spacious compared to the shop at World Porters. My husband was excited to see watches, toys and character goods. As I love Snoopy, I am pleased to see items of Snoopy. We would visit Village Vanguard again soon. Next time, we will eat hamburger. I have found nice walking course along Izumi river. Flower of Seya-ward is hydrangea. In 2 weeks, we will be able to beautiful flowers along the river. I have watched "Queen of no marrige". I haven't watched TV drama produced in Taiwan, but I found it very interesting. "Makeinu no Toboe (The Howl of the underdog)" was bestseller in 2004 in Japan. When I read the book, I was not impressed with the content, but story of this drama is much more attractive. As for characters of drama, English wiki is helpful. Queen of no marriage 初めて見た台湾ドラマ「敗犬女王」にすっかりはまりました。主人公のシェリル ヤンが魅力的ですが、脇役のキャラクター達も味のある人たちが沢山出演 しています。主人公とは似ていないお母さんや社長さん、ロミオなど一度見たら 忘れられません。ルカスはジョージルカスに似た名前ですが、医者になるので 聖書のルカもかけているのかなと思いました。 台湾の温泉旅館が中盤のシーンで出てきますが、ネットで検索したら 場所がわかりました。個室に温泉がついている日本人にも好まれそうな宿 です。 ギャオのアプリをダウンロードすると数話は無料で見られるようです。 にほんブログ村

Izu Cactus park (Japanese text) Izu Cactus park was established by Prof. Kondo (Tokyo University of Agliculture) in 1959, for coexistence model park of plant and animals.　His group had collected a lot of cactus and he had contributed  much in cultural exchange between Mexico and Japan. If you buy advanced ticket at Orange park (Ito), you will get figure of capibara.  You can see a lot of animals in the park.  A peacock was opening wing. When I call their name, they closed up. シャボテン公園は、湯河原在住の友人のドライブででかけましたが 横浜からでかけるなら、JRより小田原までは小田急で出かける方が はるかに安いです。 伊東駅からシャボテン公園行きのバスがありますが、４０分近く かかる場合があります。車で行く場合、大室山の駐車場に止めると 無料です。 にほんブログ村

The 36th Yamato citizen Festival We went to Hikichidai park at Yamato city as Yamato B-grade foodie contest was held.  Free shuttle bus from Yamato station was available on May 12. Dance performance were held at several places.  My husband took a lot pictures of Awa odori dancers.  Bonsai, bamboo craft vegetables were sold at the entrance plaza. Since I was junior high school student, I have listened to AFN (FEN) radio. My favorite time to relax is listening to "Kim Komando Show" and "i Heart Hawaii" on Saturday morning. During our stay, we visited　Kualoa ranch (for riding horse), Kailua beach Honolulu zoo.　We watched show "Society of Seven".
