Spring is around the corner



Cherry blossoms are in full bloom in Yokohama.
I always bring lunch box prepared in the morning
and eat at office.

As I do not like staying all day at office, I usually
going out after eating lunch. Today, I find
good place to eat lunch.

It is very quiet place with small rever reflecting cherry
blossoms and forsythia. Next week, I would like to eat lunch
at this place.

I would like to visit Cactus Park to watch animals as distance to animals is far at Zoorasia.  However, Zoorasia is the nearest zoo and admission fee is only 600 yen,  I sometimes go to the zoo. Since the ground is large for walking,  next time I might use van inside the park. Indian elephant 3 elephant were given by Mumbai, which is a sister city of Yokohama. How to make Plum sake 　梅酒をしこむ

Plum grove at Kibougaoka was opened 2 days for picking.  We got 3 kilo of plums. 1 kilo plum cost 500 yen. We chose clean, big plums. Plum grove is located 7 minutes from Kibougaok station.  How to make Umeshu (梅酒） Ingredient: Green Plum  1kg Rock sugar 0.5-0.8kg White liquor 1.8L  1. Soak plums into bowl more than 12 hours to remove scum. 2. Wipe plum with paper towel and remove stems. 3. Insert plum with takegushi. 4. Place layer of plum, then rock sugar. 5. Pour liquor into jar. 6 Store the jar in cool place. (not fridge). You will be ready to drink Umeshu after 6 months.

Strolling around Yamate, Ehrismann Residence, and Berrich Hall

  It was very warm today, 23 degrees Celsius, 73 degrees Fahrenheit.  We went for a walk at Motomachi street, as we wanted to have lunch at certain restaurant but it was closed at lunch time.  So we had lunch at burger house "codie's".  We had blue cheese jalapeno pepper burger and iced coffee.  It was yummy.  1-5-7, Shinyamashita, Naka-ku, Yokohama コディーズでハンバーガーを食べました。ドン・キホーテの近くです。 Bluff No.234 　山手２３４番館 Christmas decor theme is Peru.  As I majored in Spanish at college,  I longed for traveling Latin America when I was young .  It was interesting to talk with Peruvians at Bluff No.234.  Folklore concert was given today.  山手２３４番館の今年のクリスマステーマは、ペルーです。クリスマスツリーには、リャマがつるされているようです。 南米に興味があったので、山手２３４番館の装飾が一番楽しかったです。スペイン語が話せる人は、ペルー人のスタッフをしている人と話すと楽しいかも知れません。 Ehrismann Residence  　エリスマン邸 Christmas decor theme is Italian.  エリスマン邸のテーマは、イタリアでした。 Berrich Hall 　ベーリックホール Chrismas decor is Austrian.  As I am big fan of Austrian TV dram...
